Statement
Michele de la Menardiere explores the terrain of human emotion through the language of abstract painting. Working with layered compositions, organic forms, and saturated hues, her work maps the complex, shifting nature of our inner worlds.
Each piece is a dynamic tension between structure and spontaneity—an intuitive search for the exact moment a visual rhythm clicks into place. This process is a cathartic way to translate the ineffable into color and gesture, inviting viewers to slow down and find their own resonance within the layers.
