Escapist Tendencies: Journeys into Colorful Realms
This collection of fifty 6” x 6” pieces explores a spectrum of places—both real and imagined—that offer me inspiration, beauty, and a retreat from daily life. Through bold colors, layered textures, and dynamic shapes, I paint distant terrains such as lush jungles, vast deserts, and hidden caves and more familiar locales like serene beaches, tranquil gardens, and quiet hillsides. Interspersed among these scenes are fantastical realms born from my imagination—sparkling meadows, outer planets, and enchanted castles—often influenced by the books, games, and TV shows of my childhood.
Together, these works weave a rich tapestry of memories and dreams, inviting viewers to explore their own places of comfort and wonder.
